Resources

Implementation concept – resources

The implementation of GM into regular practice is not a task that can be dealt with on the side and without the provision of any resources. But because GM is aimed at differentiated target groups, resources can be deployed effectively and, for example, costly improvements to proposed legislation can be avoided. Resources of staff, money and time need to be provided for successful implementation. Binding commitments to provide them should be obtained as part of the development of an implementation concept, which should also set out how the resources are to be used. The people responsible for developing the concept must therefore make the necessity for the planned measures clear to those responsible for providing resources and if necessary remind them of their top-down responsibility within the scope of GM. How the matter of resources is dealt with will show how seriously and credibly the implementation of GM is being tackled in the organisation.
